Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), 22675 North Moorefield Road Bldg #6407 Edinburg, TX 78541, has a requirement for the following items: (1). Quantity 33,300 Boll Weevil Traps, (2). Quantity 3,600 Pheromone Dispensers, (3). Quantity 1,600 Insecticide Dispenser, (4). Quantity 700 Bamboo Stakes, (5). Quantity 1000 Trap Tie Downs. A fixed price purchase order will be issued. Delivery will be F.O.B Destination, with delivery by November 30, 2004. QUOTATIONS ARE DUE BY NOVEMBER 15, 2004 BY 10:00 AM LOCAL TIME. Submit a faxed quotation to "Purchasing Section" Attn: Charlene Lambert at (612) 370-2136, with signed original forwarded by mail to: USDA APHIS Contracting, Butler Square West 5th Floor, Minneapolis, MN 55403. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. This is a Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS Code 339999. This is a combine synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemental with commercial items prepared in accordance with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-25. Applicable FAR clauses are incorporated by reference; Prompt Payment 52.249-1; Changes-Fixed-Price 52.243-1; Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items 52.212-1; Evaluation-Commercial Items; 52.212-2; Offeror Representations and Certifications 52.212-3; Contract Terms and Condition -Commercial Items 52.212-4; Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items 52.212-5; Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside 52.219-6.
