- The VA has a requirement for transcription services for the Phoenix Veteran?s Affairs Regional Office (VARO) located at 3333 N. Central Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85012-2402. The work includes transcriptions of Veteran Benefit Hearings and Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from tapes provided by the VARO and returned in original transcripts along with the original tapes and disks provided by the VA. The contract period shall be for a base period commencing January 1, 2005, with four additional one-year options, subject to the availability of funds. This requirement will be selected under source selection procedures - FAR Part 15 (Best Value) - where the importance of cost and technical selection factors vary. Past performance is an important part of the technical evaluation. This is a commercial item solicitation under FAR Part 12. The North American Industry Classification System Number (NAICS) for this service is 561410 and Business Size Standard is $6 Million. Classification Code R - Professional, Administrative, and Management Support Services. The solicitation due date is December 2, 2004, by 3:00PM Arizona/MST.
