- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Kadena Air Base, Okinawa Japan, 18th Contracting Squadron, intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to purchase Explosion Proof Centrifuge & Training for 718 CES/CEW, Line Item 0001 ?EExplosion Proof Centrifuge & Training, 100 lbs. Maximum dry weight capacity. Specifications: Basket: 30?Edia. X 16?Ehigh, RPM ?E1750, G Force ?E1200, Wetted Surfaces: 304 Stainless Steel Drive System: Electro-hydraulic Controls: Pneumatic, Pneumatic safety interlock system Timer: Pneumatic 0 ?E10 minute, Starter: Mounted in explosion proof box, Motor: 5 hp (explosion proof) Pneumatic requirement: 80 psi / 1 cfm 230 volts / 60 cycle / 3 phase, NEMA ?EClass 1, Group D, MFR: Bock Engineered Products, Inc., Part Number: 755. 1 Each $______________. Assembling unit ?Ewill need customer to supply certain material handling, such as forklift. Making connection at machine of utilities. Unit testing and start up. Training on-site personnel to properly and safely operate equipment. (Schedule for 60-90 days after delivery of the equipment) Customer will be responsible for all wiring to the centrifuge unit.
