- Description
- This requirement is for custodial/janitorial services for the Tobyhanna Army Depot, (TYAD) Tobyhanna, Pa 18466. Contract period is a one year base period for Fiscal Year (FY) 2006 (01 October 2005 through 30 September 2006 with the option to extend for an additional four, one year option periods (FYs 07-10). Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment and transportation for performance of the required services. Custodial/janitorial services shall include basic cleaning of facilities suc h as restroom service and trash removal, periodic cleaning such as floor stripping and re-waxing, carpet shampooing, high dusting and window cleaning and emergency cleaning and cleaning for special events. Use of a mechanical sweeper/scrubber is required f or cleaning of wide aisles. Cleaning is required at various physical locations within the TYAD thereby requiring that the contractor provide suitable means of transportation of contractor employees, subject to Government approval. Offerors will be require d to provide pricing on a monthly fixed-price basis. Solicitation will require day and night shift cleaning requirements. Offerors will be required to provide to submit a written proposal which to address the offerors quality control plan, safety traini ng plan and past performance of custodial/janitorial services of a similar size and scope to those required at TYAD. Offerors are required to make a site visit before submission of a proposal. Evaluation for award will consider proposal acceptability (PAS S/FAIL), past performance and price. This acquisition is 100% set-aside as a competitive action under the U.S. Small Business Administrations 8a program. Applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 561720, Buil ding Cleaning and Maintenance Services, Standard Size $14 Million. This acquisition will be processed in accordance with the procedures at FAR Part 12 for the acquisition of commercial items.
