Description
The Bureau of Reclamation's Lower Colorado Dams Office has a requirement for updated control systems for audio and video systems in four (4) conference rooms (7th floor, Police Station, 6th floor lunchroom, and Visitors Center) with the following equipment: CRESTON QM-MD7 MEDIA DISTRIBUTION CENTER, CRESTON MC2E CONTROL PROCESSOR, CRESTON QM-AMP 3X80 MM 3 CHANNEL AMPLIFIER, CRESTON QM-RMCRX ROOM MEDIA RECEIVER, CRESTON QM-FTMC-SC FLIP TOP LECTERN PLUGIN WITH CONTROL, CRESTON QM-WMC AND QM-WMIC MEDIA CENTER WALL PLATES, CRESTON TPS-2000L LECTERN MOUNT TOUCHSCREEN, CRESTON C2N-SPWS300 300 WATT POWER SUPPLY, FURMAN PL-8 POWER CONDITIONER, APC PS250 250V UPS BACKUP, LABOR AND PROGRAMMING, MIDDLE ATLANTIC EQUIPMENT RACK AND HARDWARE WRK-24MDK, MISCELLENOUS CABLEING AND MATERIAL AS REQUIRED; DVD PLAYER, VCR PLAYER, LCDDLP PROJECTOR, PROJECTION SCREEN AND SPEAKER). General Overview Provide updated control systems for audio and video systems in 4 conference rooms (7th floor, Police station, 6th floor lunch room, and Visitors center. All systems should be uniform in control and interface so as to make operation by various staff members as simple as possible. Where possible existing audio and video should remain as long as useful. Proposal will include all needed equipment for a fully functional system as well as specifications for work need by other contractors. Wiring diagrams should be supplied as well as asbuilt diagrams at the end of the installation. Contractor will be responsible for training of Bureau of Reclamation staff as well as system documentation at the end of installation. System description Provide automated control system to audio and video devices System should control all existing as well as future audio video devices used in presentations. System should require little knowledge of audio video systems in order to be used effectively Control system interface should be custom designed to Bureau of Reclamations requirements including graphics labeling and function. System to include at least but not limited to the following devices in the central Rack system DVD Player (existing in 7th floor, Police station, and Visitors center) VCR player (existing in 7th floor, Police station, and Visitors center) Personal computer (existing in 7th floor, Police station, and Visitors center) LCD/DLP projector (existing in 7th floor, Police station, and Visitors center) Motorized Projection screen (existing in 7th floor, Police station, and Visitors center) Provide Plug-in location at each conference room for presenter to plug various audio video devices such as a laptop or portable media player. Provide equipment rack for 7th floor conference room, 6th floor lunch room as well as any racking hardware for new equipment in Visitors center and police station. Control systems should be protected against power surges and brown outs. Remote maintenance of system is a desirable feature but not required. Contractor to provide minimum of one year on site service of all hardware to cover labor of repair. Offerors should register on the website to be included on the offerors list in order to receive notifications pertaining to the RFQ or visit the web site after Tuesday, November 9, 2004, in order to access the solicitation and any subsequent amendments and/or notices. Prospective vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) prior to the award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR database may make an offeror ineligible for award.
