- Single award term contract for Document Automation & Production Service, Maxwell-Gunter Annex, AL. Beginning Date of Award and ending November 30, 2005, with 4 possible options years. Quality Level 2 is required. These specifications cover the production of a perfect-bound book with a separate cover requiring such operations as electronic prepress/film-making, printing, binding, packing, and distribution. FREQUENCY OF ORDERS: Approximately 4 orders per language, issued quarterly, are anticipated during the term of the contract. QUANTITY: English ? Approximately 19,000 to 25,000 copies per order, with an average of 20,700 copies; Spanish ? Approximately 4,000 to 6,000 copies per order with an average of 4,750 copies; Portuguese ? Approximately 2,500 to 4,000 copies per order with an average of 2,500 copies. Arabic ? Approximately 2,500 to 5,000 copies per order with an average of 2,500 copies (NOTE: Arabic is a language that reads right-to-left; printing and binding will need to accommodate a reverse format.); French ? Approximately 2,500 to 5,000 copies per order with an average of 2,500 copies. NUMBER OF PAGES: Approximately 96 pages, 112, or 128 pages per order with a separate wraparound cover. Occasional orders will have 2 business reply tearcards. TRIM SIZE: 7-3/8 x 9-3/4". Delivery: Approximately 20% of the orders, (typically, the English version), will require the contractor to mail f.o.b. contractor's city approximately 15,845 copies to various addresses; balance ship/deliver f.o.b. destination to approximately 6 addresses. Approximately 80% of the orders will require the contractor to ship/deliver f. o. b. destination to approximately 3 addresses. Complete production and delivery is required within 22 workdays.
