- This Presolicitation Notice was previously posted on October 25, 2004 under the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Formerly DOJ) Site. All notices regarding this acquisition can be found under this new site. The Department of Homeland Security, Bureau of Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol Air and Marine Operations Center, El Paso, Texas, has a requirement for the purchase of and the repair and/or overhaul of Government provided Turbomeca Arrial 2B and 1D1 and Arius 2B helicopter engines and components in accordance with the contract requirements. This will be an unrestricted acquisition. The Contractor must be a Federal Aviation Administration Part 145 Repair Station (if in the United States) or a Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization (TCAMO) approved repair station with a Class III rating and an approved Turbomeca Service Center. The contract term will be a base year of 12-months with four 12-month options which will be evaluated at time of award.
