Description

NA The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is looking for Small Business Construction Management firms to provide Construction Management services whereby the Construction Manager will perform as an Agency Construction Manager for the Department of Veterans Affairs. The CM shall furnish all the necessary personnel, materials, services, office and all incidentals necessary to perform Construction Management (CM) services on the Major Construction project for the Department of Veterans Affairs at the VA Medical Center, Denver, Colorado. This Major Project provides for 188 beds required including 31 ICU beds and 20 sub acute rehab beds located adjacent to the nursing home. In addition to the core inpatient beds this initiative calls for a 60 bed NHCU located adjacent to the Colorado State Veterans Home already operational at this site and 30 Spinal Cord Injury/Disease beds adjacent to the Medical/Surgical tower. These beds are in addition to the 188 previously mentioned. The requirements of this contract will be divided into two parts. The design elements of the first part, Design Development (DD) and Construction Documents (CD), are the base contract requirements, which will be awarded at time of contract execution with the second part covering Construction. Applicants must be have and demonstrate experience where their firm has successfully handled jobs in the range of $328.5 million in a medical facilities environment. This is not a request for proposal. Firms must indicate whether they are SBA Certified under the 8(a), HUBZone, SDB, WOSB, SDVOSB, VOB and/or SB under NAICS 233320.
