Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number is FA8901-05-R-0002 and is issued as a Request for Quote. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-13. The associated North American Industry Classification System(NAICS)for this procurement is 611430 and the business size is $6,000,000. This request is for the purchase of Annual National Fire Code Subscription Service with National Fire Code Subscription Service CD and Internet Edition with the current editions of all the NFPA codes and standards which include formal interpretations explaining the rational behind the code requirements and tentative interim amendments providing the text of national fire safety codes and standards changes.Provisions to include FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Jan 2004); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Oct 2003); FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items (Apr 2004), apply to this acquisition.
