- The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. NSN: 2840-01-146-9472JF, Part Number: 5050M72G05, Noun: FLAMEHOLDER. Item Description: Built of 3 sub assemblies (1) Inner, (1) Outer and (28) Radial Gutters making the whole assembly. The function of the lfameholder is to maintain flame patterns in the exhaust duct just AFT of the mixer. The dimensions are overall length 11.730 inches nominal and overall width 2.580 inches minimum and 2.620 inches maximum. Special features: 22.300 ? 23.540inches radius up to the Thermal Coating. The material consists of Nickel Alloy flameholder material document and classification: AMS 5536 ASSN Standard Single Material response flameholder. ACFT: B1B. Engine: F101-102. Destination: FB2039. Quantity: Ranges will be solicited between 20 and 49, the BEQ is 39 ea. Delivery: 31 MAR 2006. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement Qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. Data may be obtained from the TeDs website at www.dodteds.com once the solicitation is issued. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 29 NOV 2004. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 30 DEC 2004. The anticipated award date will be 15 FEB 2005. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. First Article Test Required. No telephone requests. The solicitation must be printed from FedBizOps by the contractor. This office will not mail solicitations. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
