Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FQECES53060200 and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-25. CLIN 0001 - Cable. Single conductor airport lighting cable. 5kV, 6mm2 (AWG #10 or AWG #8) shielded, stranded copper, cable with overall jacket for direct burial. Cable must have an extruded semi conductive insulated screen, XLPE insulation, copper screen and outer PVC sheath. Quantity 1700 meters. 0002 - Cable. 16 mm2 (AWG #6) stranded copper wire, bare. Quantity 9000 meters. 0003 - Cable. 25 mm2 (AWG #4) stranded copper wire, bare. Quantity 9000 meters. Payment will be made by Governement Purchase Card. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order: Only quotations submitted via email to Michael.schuman@maab.aorcentaf.af.mil by 1600 CST on 9 November 2004 will be considered. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with the quotation. If a copy of the provisions are needed, they can be found on arnet.gov/far. FAR clause 52.212-4 (Oct 2003), Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. 52.212-4 (c) Changes is tailored as follows: Changes in the terms and conditions of this contract may be made only by written agreement of the parties with the exception of administrative changes (such as changes in paying office, appropriation data, etc.) which may be changed unilaterally by the Government. FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items (Oct 2003) applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference.
