Description

This is a combined synopsis/quotation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitute s the only quotation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. The combined Synopsis/ Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is W52H09-05-T-5060 and will be published on the ASFI website at https://acquisition.army.mil. This procurement is Full and Open Competition. Offers are due no later than 12 November 2004, 4:30 pm at FAX 309-782-6727 or email  dennisonb@ria.army.mil. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 331315 with a size standard of 750 employees. DESCRIPTION: FSC 9535, Aluminum Plate, 5083 H131 (other acceptable tempers  H113, H321, H323, or H112), .750 thick X 48 X 120, AMS-QQA-250/6. Total Order Quantity  1020 each sheets with a 100% option. The option will be evaluated at the time of award; option will be contingent upon receipt of funding. CRITICAL URGENT DELIVERY. Delivery for all sheets shall be as follows: 138 sheets NLT December 17, 2004 150 sheets NLT January 8, 2005 150 sheets NLT January 21, 2005 150 sheets NLT February 4, 2005 150 sheets NLT February 18, 2005 150 sheets NLT March 4, 2005 132 sheets NLT March 18, 2005 Earlier deliveries are acceptable Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island , IL. EVALUATION. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering price and price related factors. The following factors will be used to evaluate offers: 1) Del ivery, 2) Price. Delivery is slightly more important than price.
