Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing is seeking vendors to manufacture HOOD STACK AND RACK SYSTEMS. All qualified sources interested, must submit in wrinting a request for RFQ-05-0144 and drawings. Requests and inquiries must be sent via fax, e-mail or mail. No phone requests for RFQ-05-0144 will be entertained or accepted. A site visit will be conducted on Monday, November 15, 2004, at 10:00a.m. The site visit is to ensure that all interested vendors are given an equal opportunity to review the drawings and specifications and to inspect a sample of the stack and rack system requirement. The site visit will be held at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, 9000 Blue Mound Road, Ft. Worth, TX, 76131. In order to secure access to the BEP Facility and attend the site visit, you are required to submit the name of the individual(s), title of the individual(s) and company name of the individual(s) via fax or e-mail, not later than Friday, November 12, 2004, 10:00a.m. (cst) to the attention of Loni Spring. At the time of the site visit, all visitors are required to possess a valid picture identification, e.g., driver's license. Anyone whose name was not submitted prior to the visit will not be allowed to participate. Quotes are due by COB November 19, 2004. Correspondence sent to the Washington DC Facility will not be considered. Simplified Acquisition procedures set forth in FAR 12 and 13 shall be used.
