- Description
- The USAF has a requirement for the Augmentor Fuel Control applicable to F100PW220/220E engine for the F15/F16 aircraft. NSN:2915-01-217-0177NZ; P/N: 441422-7; QTY: the Air Force anticipates a between 13 and 39; U/I: EA; SIZE/DIMENSIONS: approximately 21 inches long X 8.25 inches wide X 12 inches thick; FORM/FIT/FUNCTION: Regulates the delivery of afterburner fuel for the afterburner spraybars over the full range of afterburner operation in a turbine engine. PREDOMINANT MATERIAL: Aluminum and Steel; DELIVERY: 31DEC05; DELIVER TO: Tinker AFB, OK. Anticipated solicitation issue date: 24NOV04. Anticipated award date: 31MAR05. A firm-fixed price, fixed quantity contract is anticipated. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved sources. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible Source Approval for future awards. The Government does not own the data rights to the drawings. Government drawings are not available. TO: Honeywell International, Inc., Tempe AZ Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). NOTE: An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or Potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program manager or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor Concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict Confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate In the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
