Description

This acquisition is to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary for the performance of janitorial services at Marine Safety and Security Team 91109, San Diego, CA. The period of performance is one base year planned for 01 January 2005 through 30 September 2005, with two (2) option years from 01 October 2005 through 30 September 2006 and 01 October 2006 through 30 September 2007. The solicitation will be issued on or about 18 November 2004, with a planned closing date of 15 December 2004. The janitorial services will be acquired under the authority of the FAR 12, Acquisitions of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Programs for Certain Commercial Items. A guided site visit is planned. More definitive information concerning the site visit (date/time/points of contact) will be included in the solicitation. The solicitation is 100 percent set-aside for SBA certified HUBZone small business concerns .The NAICS Code 561720, with a size standard of $14 million. All interested and capable HubZone firms are encouraged to download a copy of the solicitation and supporting documents from FedBizOps electronic Posting system at www.eps.gov under Vendor, DHS, United States Coast Guard, Commander (fcp-2) USCG Maintenance and Logistics Command Pacific, Alameda, CA. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be issued. Amendments to the RFP will also be provided on the Internet using the same protocol listed above. Any correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference Request for Proposal (RFP) Number HSCG89-05-R-6TF040. Award will be made on the basis of best value to the Government based on past performance and price. This is a first time buy without any previous contract information.
