Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation Number is R6-15-05-17 and is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 25. This requirement is set aside for small business. The NAICS Code is 424910. The small business size standard is 500 employees. Item 1: 15 EA-- Flex Netting with memory -Tiller Net- in 5000 foot roles. Item 2: 56,000 EA?Rigid Diamond Mesh Tubes 3 ? inch by 24 inches, combination polyethylene and polypropylene material with UV3 inhibitor. Item 3: 53,000 EA?Bamboo Stakes ?natural- 3 ft by 10-12mm. Item 4: 104,000 EA?Forestry Ground Cover Material, Kraft Asphalt Laminate Paper, 30-60-30, with glass fiber scrim, two layers with high wet-tensile strength -approx. 5 pounds per inch machine direction- 36 inch by 36 inch sheet with a 6 inch X cut in the center of each sheet. Item 5: 331,000 EA?Wire Landscape Staples 6 inch by 1 inch by 6 inch, 12 gauge steel. Multiple awards may be made if all requirements cannot be obtained from a single source. To determine if it is in the Government?s best interest to make a multiple award, the Government will add an administrative amount of $250 to an offer offering only a fraction of the items when evaluating it against an offer offering all items. All material shall be delivered on pallets with the exception of rigid diamond mesh tubes. Total weight per pallet shall not exceed 3,500 pounds. The pallets shall become the property of the Government. Deliver to Tiller Ranger District Office, 27812 Tiller Trail Hwy., Tiller OR 97484 on-or-before 28 JAN 2005. FOB, Inspection and Acceptance Destination. Delivery to be made by appointment to assure that there is someone available to operate the forklift. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Addenda are not attached. The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items applies. Specific evaluation criteria are: i. Technical Capability of the item to meet the Government requirement; ii. Price; iii. Past Performance. Technical and past performance, when combined are approximately equal to price. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with its offer. The Clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. There are no addenda to this clause.
