- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) to acquire electrical equipment for the completion of prime power grid at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. Request for Quote (RFQ) number W912BU-05-T-0021 has been assigned. The NAICS code is 423610, with a size standard of 500 employees. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation with not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition C ircular, 2001-20. The provision at FAR 52.212-2l, Evaluation Commercial Items applies. The evaluation factors are price and delivery. Delivery is more important tha n price. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representative and Certifications-Commercial Items, must be completed and returned with the offer. The provisions at 52.212-1, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5 apply. All contractors are requi red to be registered in the DODs Central Contract Register (CCR) before award as required by DFARS 204.7300.
