Description

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the Construction of an Office/Visitor Center Building located at Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery, Jamestown, KY. Work includes but is not limited to; supplying all materials, tools, supplies, labor, transportation and equipment necessary to construct an approximately 8,685 SF single story new office building with stucco and stacked stone exterior, projector room, offices, lab and administrative offices, all site work, electrical and mechanical systems. The NAICS code is 236220. The size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The tentative IFB issue date is on or about 12/14/04, with a 30 day closing. A firm-fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 365 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is 01/20/05. The IFB documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under IFB number 401814B014. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments.
