Description
NASA/GSFC has a requirement for Qty: 6 EA 15" TFT monitors with panel-mount bezel; integrated Capacitive Touchscreen, USB interface. Includes internal touchscreen controller with USB port interface, Cables to connect to PC: video, touchscreen, and AC power, software driver. Additional specifications: Mounts in a 11-1/2" x 14" hole; software driver for Windows 2000/XP; VGA video port for monitor; Run up to 4 Touch Monitors on one PC; Power Supply: Input: 90-240V, 50-60Hz, 1.0A; Max. Resolution: 1024 x 768; Video Signal: R.G.B Analog 0.7V Peak-to-Peak; Sync: TTL Positive or Negative; Input Connector: Analog R.G.B. 15 Pin D-sub; Touch Resolution: 1024 x 1024; Durability Test: 100,000,000 plus touches at one point; Chemical Resistance: The active area of the touchscreen is resistant to all chemicals that do not affect glass, such as: Acetone, Toluene, Methyl ethyl ketone, Isopropyl alcohol, Methyl alcohol, Ethyl acetate, Ammonia-based glass cleaners, Gasoline, Kerosene, Vinegar. Screens must respond to finger contact, durable touchscreen, compatible with all mouse-driven software using software driver mouse emulation, works alone or with keyboard mouse, allows the following mouse functions: Left-Click, Double-Click, Drag-and-Drop, and Right Click. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to use the On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above or it may be accessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin= . The information required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred) no later than November 10, 2004. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any). Potential quoters will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this notice, the on-line RFQ and amendments (if any). An ombudsman has been appointed - See NASA Specific Note "B".
