Description

This is a modification to provide supplemental information for the sources sought synopsis for NPR Spare Transformer Reverse Auction Procurement. Information is required no later than the close of business 12 Nov 04. The purpose of the Notice is to determine whether there are a sufficient number of sources who meet all three of the experience requirements detailed within the sources sought notice. If your firm does not meet one or more of the experience requirements p lease explain what experience level you can provide. For each transformer that you would be interested in supplying please provide with your submittal the transformer type; where manufactured with ISO 9001 Certification; and KVA rating. Please provide su fficient information to demonstrate that your firm meets the experience requirements as detailed within this notice; including specific information about the transformers supplied, the location, and the customers company name, point of contact, and phone number. (a)(i) Design and Fabrication  interested sources will be required to have 10 or more years of design and fabrication experience for all types of power transformers rated up to and including 230kV, and greater than 30MVA, with documented experience with s ingle phase transformers. (ii) Site Assembly - 10 or more years of site assembly experience for all types of power transformers rated up to and including 230kV, and greater than 30MVA, with documented experience with single phase transformers; (iii) Erecti ng Engineer  have erecting engineers, employed by the transformer manufacturer, with 5 or more years of field assembly and installation experience for all types of power transformers rated up to and including 230kV, and greater than 30MVA, with documented experience with single phase transformers; (b)(i) Design and Fabrication  interested sources will be required to have 10 or more years of design and fabrication experience for all types of power transformers rated up to and including 230kV, and greater t han 250MVA, with documented experience with three phase transformers. (ii) Site Assembly - 10 or more years of site assembly experience for all types of power transformers rated up to and including 230kV, and greater than 2500MVA, with documented experienc e with three phase transformers; (iii) Erecting Engineer  have erecting engineers, employed by the transformer manufacturer, with 5 or more years of field assembly and installation experience for all types of power transformers rated up to and including 2 30kV, and greater than 250MVA, with documented experience with three phase transformers; and (c )(i) Design and Fabrication  interested sources will be required to have 10 or more years of design and fabrication experience for all types of power transform ers rated up to and including 500kV, and greater than 165MVA, with documented experience with single phase transformers; (ii) Site Assembly - have 10 or more years of site assembly experience for all types of power transformers rated up to and including 5 00kV, and greater than 165MVA, with documented experience with single phase transformers; (iii) Erecting Engineer - have erecting engineers, employed by the transformer manufacturer, with 5 or more years of field assembly and installation experience for al l types of power transformers rated up to and including 500kV, and greater than 165MVA, with documented experience with single phase transformers.
