- Description
- The Department of Justice, Justice Management Division, will be issuing a solicitation for Food Services NAICS 722310. The contract will be a concessions type contract with a three-year base period of performance and seven (7) one-year options. The Contractor shall operate in its own name the Department of Justice's RFK Main Justice Building food service facilities for the purpose of dispensing food, nonalcoholic beverages and such other items as may be authorized by the CO in accordance with all terms and conditions of the solicitation. [The RFK Main Justice Building is located at 950 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC.] The construction of the new 10,240 square foot food service facilities will be completed in February 2005. The Contractor shall operate a main cafeteria, a coffee bar, and a private dining room, and provide vending services and, potentially, catering services. Full service must be offered in the cafeteria for both breakfast and lunch to include a grill, deli, hot entr?es, and salad bar. The Coffee Bar will be open most of the work day. Other than Government-owned equipment listed in the solicitation, Contractor shall provide all necessary food service equipment and utensils, labor and management, materials and supplies to operate all of the facilities and provide services as stated in the solicitation. Proposals will be considered from all responsible sources. No hardcopies of the solicitation will be available. The solicitation, and any amendments, will be posted on the Government-wide Point of Entry (FedBizOpps). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Approximate posting date of the solicitation is November 19, 2004.
