REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Management of Transit Construction Projects – FP027 Agency: National Transit Institute Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey University Procurement & Contracting Administrative Services Bldg. Johnson, Buyer Phone: (732) 932-4375, Ext. 2309 Fax: (732) 932-4390 E-Mail: cindyj@rci.rutgers.edu Date for receipt of proposals: January 28, 2005 Proposals are requested to deliver and update, as needed, an existing training course, Management of Transit Construction Projects, to assist Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grantees in preparing and implementing Project Management Plans and managing capital investment projects. This two and a half-day course will be offered to managers, planners, and engineers involved in all phases of the management and control of FTA-funded projects. The subcontract is three (3) years with a two (2) year option exercised solely at the discretion of Rutgers University. The subcontract will require delivery of the course up to thirty (30) times during the five-year contract period, and modifications to the course material as needed. NTI will require proposers to have had experience with the subject matter as well as experience in revising, updating, and delivering training programs. To obtain a copy of the complete RFP, send a written request on organization letterhead to the University Procurement & Contracting address above. Fax or e-mail requests will be accepted. Telephone requests are unacceptable. RFP’s will not be faxed. Requests will be honored if received by December 15, 2004. RFP’s will be mailed out shortly thereafter.
