Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) awarded Purchase Order SB1341-04-N-1655, effective September 22, 2004, for a Small Angle X-Ray Scattering USAXS System, in accordance with FAR Part 12 and subpart 13.5 Test Program. It is NIST?s intention to modify the existing purchase order on a sole source basis to Rigaku/ MSC to provide for the purchase of a Direct Drive Rotating Anode Assembly and Confocal Optical System that will have absolute compatibility with NIST?s custom, small angle X-Ray scattering system purchased from Rigaku/MSC. Rigaku/MSC is the only vendor who is capable of providing a Direct Drive Rotating Anode Assembly and Confocal Optical System that will maintain absolute compatibility with the current X-Ray generator, optical system, X-Ray scattering subsystem, scintillation Counter Detector, goniometer, Pinhole X-Ray scattering subsystem, area detector, and instrument controller manufactured by Rigaku/MSC.
