Description

The Dept of Orthopedic Surgery Service, Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii has a requirement for fabrication technology system that will produce positive molds from lightweight foam blocks for custom orthotics and prosthetics through an automated pr ogram and use of a handheld laser scanner and mill. System shall have the capability to produce saw bones, simulations for use by physicians and other care providers for training. The system shall have telemedicine capability for patient scanning and mil ling, as well as the capability to complete approx 90 pct of routine repairs and maintenance required for the system via the telemedicine option. The system shall have the ability of having electronic x-ray compatibility designed into the system and abilit y to cut foam models on a vertical 6-axis plane. On-site installation, training required. The Govt anticipates negotiating with Clynch Technologies Inc, 4703 Bowness Rd NW Calgary AB Canada.
