- POTENTIAL SOURCES SOUGHT U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center (ELC) has a requirement to overhaul two (2) each VA Tech Escher Wyss GMBH Controllable Pitch Propulsion (CPP) Hubs, Stock No. 2010-12-307-6891, VA Tech Escher Wyss GMBH Part No. 834590-00RH, Qty 1 Ea, and Stock No. 2010-12-307-6892, VA Tech Escher Wyss GMBH Part No. 83459400LH, Qty 1 Ea. These CPP Hubs are used on the U.S. Coast Guard 378 WHEC Hamilton Class vessels. Overhauls to be performed in accordance with USCG ELC Specification No. R-245-0155 Revision D, dated 08/04 and criteria set forth in the OEM drawings, specifications, and technical publications. Quality Assurance required. All replacement parts shall be new OEM parts. Substitute parts are not acceptable. Preservation, Packaging, and Marking shall be in accordance with USCG ELC Specification No. R-245-0155 Revision D, dated 08/04 and Bar coding for U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center Material, Specification No. D-000-0100 Rev. F dated 10/91. Delivery shall be 120 days after award. Delivery to be F.O.B. destination to USCG ELC Receiving, 2401 Hawkins Point Rd., Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. This notice is published in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. It is the Government's belief that only VA Tech Escher Wyss or their authorized distributors can provide repair services and OEM parts. Technical drawings, specifications, fits, clearances pertaining to CPP Hubs are proprietary to VA Tech Escher Wyss or their authorized distributors. However, other potential sources having the expertise and required capabilities can submit such data discussing the same in duplicate within 10 days from the date of this announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered services/parts: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the capability of the offered services and parts, or 2) Data that the offered services have been satisfactorily performed for the Government or the Original Equipment Manufacturer. See Numbered Note 22. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY.
