- This replaces Sol. NFFK0000-5-00001 in its entirety. The Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration intends to negotiate on a sole source bases with the Gulf States Marine Fisheries Commission, P.O. Box 726, Ocean Springs, Mississippi 39566-0726. Gulf States Marine Fisheries Commission is uniquely qualified to provide registration and travel arrangement services to attend the State and National Marine Fisheries Service Cooperative Fisheries Program Workshop because they work to resolve fishery issues that fall outside state or regional management council jurisdiction under the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act, P.L. 94-265 as amended, Section 402(d) for the bi-annual National Marine Fisheries Service and State Fisheries Directors Meeting in St. Petersburg, Florida to be held from Noon April 10 through Noon, April 13, 2005. This requirement is being acquired under the authority of 41 USC 234 ?(1). Competitive documentation does not exist. Notwithstanding the Government?s intent to negotiate this requirement on a sole source bases with GSMFC, responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered by NOAA. Responses must be received by December 6, 2004. If the Government is affirmed, no further notice will be made prior to award.
