PRON: AX5C0038AX, NSN: 1615-01-115-3609, PN: 145R3650-1 QUANTITY: Min: 1100 each/Max: 550; 5 Year Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quanti ty (IDIQ) Contract, applicable to the CH-47, with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. This is a Flight Safety Part. This item is restricted to Boeing Helicopter Cage Code 77272, Avibank Mfg. Inc. Cage 84256 and SPS Technologies Inc. Cage 56878. T his part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activitys procedures, a s approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. A Contractor First Article is required. Produ ction Lead-time with First Article Testing is 1,100 each, 320 Days After contract Award (DACA). Production Lead-time without First Article Testing is 1,100 each, 291 DACA. Production Lead-time with Article II Clause is 1,100 each, 364 DACA. Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation requirements. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. NOTES: 23 and 26
