Description

Brooke Army Medical Center, Department of Pathology, Fort Sam Houston, TX has a requirement for the purchase of DTL812 white, DTL 812A yellow and DTL 812B blue labels. Labels are direct thermal paper top coated for optimum environmental resistance. Optimal wavelength range under 633mm. Base weight of 50%, Brightness Average is 89%. Image Color = Black. Excellent resistance to oils, fat, blood and plasticizers. Excellent resistance to alcohol and solvents. Labels must have high initial tack perma nent acrylic healthcare adhesive. Excellent mandrel hold and very good adhesion to corrugated, glass and curved surfaces. Considered to be latex glove friendly. Service range;  75 to 200 degrees F (-60C to 93C). Used for barcode and human readable la bels. Three (3) label sets consisting of four (4) labels each arranged horizontally = 1 Label. Each label set shall be perforated horizontally and vertically. Overall dimensions 3 ? X 6. Outside wind on a 3 core. 980, 12 part labels per roll. Four (4) continuous rolls per box. Each continuous roll = 1000 Labels. All labels shall be identified by lot number, which will be attached to the label roll. Contractor will provide quarterly monthly customer satisfaction survey feedback to the government. Period of performance is from date of award through 30 Sep 05 with four one-year options. This procurement is being conducted as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12.
