- This is a modification to the synopsis issued on October 21, 2004 entitled Flight Critical Systems Research (FCSR), which announced the Government's plans to issue a Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) for FCSR. The purpose of this notice is to announce that the DRFP for FCSR is now posted. Questions/comments are invited and strongly encouraged from potential offerors on all aspects of the DRFP, including the requirements, schedules, proposal instructions, and evaluation approach. The Government is not requesting proposals in response to this DRFP, does not intend to award a contract on the basis of the DRFP, and does not intend to pay for any information received regarding this solicitation. Questions/comments are due no later than December 3, 2004, and shall be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist, Krista Y. Jensen, by e-mail at Krista.Y.Jensen@nasa.gov, or via fax at 757-864-7898. Please use the reference number, NNL0575073R, in the response title. Telephone questions will not be accepted. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the internet at FedBizOpps (URL- http://www.fedbizopps.gov ) and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service Web Sites (URL- http://prod.nais.nasa.gov ). Prospective offerors shall notify the Contract Specialist of the intent to submit an offer. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site(s) for the release of the final solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Any referenced notes may be viewed at the following URL links below.
