Description

The USDA, ARS, Beltsville Agricultural Research Center, intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for maintenance and repair of primary barrier equipment. Equipment includes Class I Biological Safety Cabinets, Class II Type 1 BSCs, Class II Type A2 BSCs, Class II Type B1 BSCs, Class II Type B2 BSCs, clean benches, animal care modules and BL-3P greenhouse facility. Services to be performed on site at 4 locations: BARC in Beltsville, Maryland; USNA in Washington, DC; ARS Facility in Glenn Dale, Maryland; FNPRU in McMinnville, TN. The performance period is a one-year base period with four-12 month option periods. Competition is full and open. The North American Industry Classification Code is 811219 with a small business standard of $6.0M. The RFQ (13-3K47-04) will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation will be available August 27, 2004 at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check this site for any posted changes or amendments. All responsible contractors may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Anticipated award is October 1, 2004.
