- You are invited to bid on government surplus general purpose information technology equipment located at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, Huntsville, AL. The inventory consists of desk top systems, laptops, servers, network equipment, monitors, printers, power supplies, etc. See the three attached Microsoft Word documents for the complete inventory. The entire inventory is being offered as one lot "as is, where is" and the condition is "used." Northrop Grumman and the DoD make no guarantees as to the operability or fitness for any intended use or purpose. Hard drives have been overwritten or removed from the CPUs. Specific questions regarding condition or requests to view the inventory may be addressed to Ms. Jacquie Vincent, Northrop Grumman, telephone (256) 830-3885. Removal of the property shall be at the Purchaser's expense. The items will be palletized at a minimum level to facilitate ease of handling. Any desired additional packaging or packing will be at the Purchaser's expense. Information technology equipment is subject to the customs and export laws and regulations of the United States, and it is the Purchaser's responsibility to comply with and abide by those laws and regulations. Such goods may not be sold, leased or otherwise transferred to restricted countries or utilized by restricted end-users. Awards will not be approved for any bidder entered on the List of Parties Excluded from Procurement, available at website: http://epls.arnet.gov. All terms and conditions are as stated in the attachment. All bids must be submitted to DCMA Atlanta, Attn: Jim Poules, 2300 Lake Park Drive, Suite 300, Smyrna, GA 30080 no later than 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time on Thursday, December 9, 2004. Purchaser agrees to pay the full purchase price for awarded property at the prices quoted in the bid. The successful bidder shall, within 15 calendar days after notice of award, make payment by Certified/Cashier check, or Money Order. Title to the property sold under this invitation shall vest in the Purchaser when full payment is made. Northrop Grumman shall not be liable for property damaged or personal injury to equipment or personnel of Successful Bidder or third persons subject property by Successful Bidder hereunder, and Successful Bidder agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Northrop Grumman, it's officers, employees and agent from any loss, cost damage, expense or liability of any nature or kind by reason of property damage or personal injury, whether to Northrop Grumman property or personnel or to the equipment or personnel of Successful Bidder or of third persons, in connection with such inspection, or removal of the property by Successful Bidder. Successful Bidder further agrees to maintain, and to cause any carrier designated by Successful Bidder to remove such property to maintain public liability and property damage insurance in reasonable amounts to cover the obligations set forth above.
