Description

Lower Spirits Creek-Bid Item 1: This work consists of removing and stockpiling existing gravel deposit, reshaping the stream channel, removining damaged gabions, installing new gabions and mattress, placing geotextitle and rip rap for stream slope protection. Upper Spirits Creek-Bid Item 2: This work consists of constructing a footer and reinforced wall to repair a washed out area under a bridge approach, placing rip rap for slope protection. This project is located on the Boston Mountain Ranger District, Ozark-St. Francis National Forest, Franklin County, Arkansas. The Range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The size standard is $28.5 Million. The successful contractor will be required to furnish a payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price prior to beginning work. The pre-bid/site visit will be listed in Section L of the solicitation. The solicitation for this project can be downloaded on or about November 30, 2005. Phone calls are discouraged.
