Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA intends to solicit for the purchase of 210 each, Input/Output Serial Boards, RS232, AAI P/N 62828-90089-1, Xycom P/N XVME-490/1, or equal. NSN: 5998-01-368-8652, ASN: S100-1A2A6-1. The only approved source of supply at this time is Xycom, Inc. Any company capable of providing the required equipment, or equal, is encouraged to submit a request in writing to the attention of Jackie Shewmaker. Requests may be faxed to (816) 426-5067 or emailed to the address stated herein. Requests must be received no later than fifteen (15) days after publication of this notice. A solicitation will be issued approximately fifteen (15) days after publication. The NAICS code for this action is 335999. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Agency. The solicitation may include a requirement for first article approval. The Central Administrative Support Center, Acquisition Management Division requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR, please access the following website: http://www.ccr.gov. In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet number.
