- Description
- The types of work that will be requested in task orders issued pursuant to an Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract will consist mainly of plumbing and electrical work and may include excavation of underground utilities and pipelines; installation of underground pipes, valves, and conduits; removal of obsolete pipes and conduits; electrical distribution and HVAC work; analytical and/or consulting work to ascertain whether repair or modification to existing systems are appropriate; valve repair/replacement; trenching; digging; and drilling. Work performed on task orders under this contract may require the full range of workers from licensed journeyman technicians to skilled equipment operators to general laborers. The IDIQ contract will be for a minimum of $5,000 to a maximum of $50,000 a year with two optional years for a total of three years. The Government will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP), and offerors will be required to submit written technical and cost proposals in response to the RFP. The solicitation package will be tentatively available on or around December 22, 2004. The receipt of proposals is tentatively due in the above-referenced office of the USGS on or before close of business January 20, 2005. Prospective offerors desiring to tour the CERC facilities with Stephen Culley, Facilities Operations Specialist, may meet at the main CERC office on January 10, 2005 at 10 a.m. This acquisition is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System code is 238220 and the size standard is $12 million.
