Description

Pursuant to FAR Part 13, this synopsis provides notice of Philadelphia Division, Contracting Department, FISC Norfolk?s intent to solicit a proposal to purchase, on a sole source basis, with BAE Systems Information and Electronic Warfare Systems; 65 Spit Brook Road, Nashua, NH 03061; for the services listed hereafter. The services are non-commercial in nature and are: Contractor Field Support Services, including evaluation of field problems and providing technical guidance for BAE Systems' automatic test equipment in support of electronic warfare countermeasures. The requirement is for one year of service, beginning 1/01/2005 and ending 12/31/2005. These services will be used to support NAVAIR PMA 272, Jacksonville, FL. BAE Systems is the only known firm that can provide service that will allow for full operation of the BAE Systems ATE Interface. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government will not pay for any information received.
