Description

Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for analytical services for testing samples for asbestos. Lab must be accredited for asbestos testing by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accrediation Program (NVLAP). Samples will be delivered to contractor?s facility by government representative of NMRD Point Loma, CA. Delivery of reports are required within 24 hours. This procurement will be for an annual contract with a base period 01 Jan 2005 through 30 Sept 2005 and four (4)one-year option periods. Options to begin 01 Oct. This requirement will be solicited as a 100% small business set aside basis, using Commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR 13.5. The North Amercian Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541380 and the Small Business Size Standard is $10,000,000. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the NECO website @ www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to mary.carkeek@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. Only vendors registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) will be considered for contract award. See www.ccr2000.com for more information on registering. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote non-responsive and result in the rejection of same.
