- Description
- The Government intends to modify Contract Number USZA95-01-D-0006 for contract Support Services (CSS) for the electronic jamming suite on the MH-47 and MH-60 Special Operations Forces aircraft for repair support, sustaining engineering support, training, peculiar ground support equipment, manual updates, and program management to e provide by the contractor in support of the AN/ALQ-136A(V)(2) pulse jammer, T-1629/ALQ-211(V) (commonly known as the High Power Remote Transmitter (HPRT() installed in MH-60K and MH-47G U.S. Army Special Operations Aircraft (SOA), and associated test equipment. This contract is being modified to include the ALQ-211 Suite of Integrated Radio-Frequency Countermeasures (SIRFC). This acquisition is anticipated to be a sole source to ITT Avionics, 100 Kingsland Road, Clifton, NJ 07014. ITT is the designer, developer, and sole supplier of the AN/ALQ-136A (V) 2 and the contract was awarded on August 29, 2001 with a period of performance of five years. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by the agency. See Numbered Notes 22 and 26.
