Description

The Army needs a series of Contractors to perform Packing and Crating Services for Government owned property at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, GA. The services primarily consist of pre-move survey, disassembly of furniture, packaging, invent orying, tagging, wrapping, padding, packing, properly securing and sealing for shipment at locations identified by the Government, weighing, marking, strapping, and drayage of the container within the area of performance. Services shall include but not be limited to loading of shipments on carriers equipment at the moving locations and/or at the Contractors facility. Services may include door-to-door moves or storage of Government owned property in Contractors storage facility and delivery back to loc ations identified by the Government. Additionally, unpacking, re-assembly of furniture and inventory of Government owned property may be required. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $300,000. The NAICS Code is 484210. This acquisition is unrestricted. This acquisition will be posted on or about 15 Dec 04. This solicitation will be posted on the internet only.
