Description
The Philadelphia District is soliciting request for competitive proposals on a competitive basis to design, construct, assemble and install two (2) new commercial floating docks with gangways. The contractor shall provide all work required to accomp lish the intent and scope of the contract. One floating dock shall be installed at Delaware City, DE and the other floating dock at Chesapeake City, MD. This notice of intent is a Request for Competitive Proposals. However, all information received withi n three (3) calendar days after date of publication of this notice will be considered. Request for Proposals (RFP) Number W912BU-05-T-0020 has been assigned. The solicitation will be available on or about 30 November 2004. Offers shall include past perf ormance information containing at least two previous projects of similar size and scope. Contractors must register on the Internet and download the solicitation package and all amendments from the following address: https://ebs.nap.usace.army.mil on or af ter the issue date of the solicitation. If any information changes during the advertisement period, contractors are responsible to make changes to their user profile on the Internet. Failure to make changes in their user profile may cause a delay in receiv ing notice of the solicitation or any amendments. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular, 2001-20. Delivery is required within 90 calendar days after award. The solicita tion will be awarded to lowest responsive and responsible offeror. This procurement is set-aside for Hub-Zone businesses. All responsible sources may submit a quote that shall be considered. The Government will not pay for information received. All cont ractors are required to be registered in the DODs Central Contract Register (CCR) before award as required by DFARS 204.7300. Also, contractors who receive a federal contract of $25,000.00 or more are required by legislation to submit an annual VETS-100 Report on your employment of targeted veterans.
