- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting for MK48 Battery packs to be constructed in accordance with Government drawings. The required delivery date is 30 days after date of approval of First Article Test Units. FOB Destination: Naval Undersea Warfare Center-Keyport, 610 Dowell Street, Keyport, WA 98345-7610, West Palm Beach, FL, San Diego, CA, and Hawaii. Inspection and Acceptance will take place at Destination. This requirement is for a IDIQ type contract consisiting of a Base Year and 4 one year Option Periods. The applicable NAICS Code is 335911 and a size standard of 500 employees. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued by 11/19/04. The closing date of the solicitation will be 12/17/04, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 15 as negotiated procurement. When issued, the Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) we! b link: www.neco.navy.mil and on the Keyport Acquisition homepage at http://www-keyport.kpt.nuwc.navy.mil. Offerors wishing to submit a quote are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ and monitoring the sites for amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An e-mail request to BrittonJFkpt.nuwc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO or Keyport websites. The offeror must have a current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database ( http://www.ccr.gov ) as well as be certified to receive Arms Control Data information. Instructions to apply for such authorization are contained as an Attachment to the solicitation. Questions should be submitted in writing via the facsimile number provided above or e-mailed to: BrittonJF@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil . No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ / amendments! will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same.
