- Description
- NASA/LaRC has a requirement for One (1) custom designed high-throughput telescope that operates over deep UV to visible spectral band with following specifications: Total spectral coverage: 190 nm to 1100 nm; Primary Wavelength Band: 190 nm to 380 nm; Near diffraction operation limited over UV spectral band; Type: Cassegrain or its variations; Aperture Size: 6"; F-Number: F/1.8; True FOV: ~2.3 mrad; and a compact and light weight housing with mounting provisions for Laboratory experiments. Note that a digital CCD camera with highest spectral sensitivity in the UV region (190 to 400 nm) besides operating in the visible spectral region is required for our UV applications. Photonicsworks model number TEL-UV-CUS-045. NASA/LaRC intends to purchase the item from PHOTONICWORKS LLC., 913 Troy Street, Lafayette, CO because only Photonicworks LLC is able to meet the minimum specifications. FAR 13.106-1 is the authority for this sole source procurement. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on December 8, 2004.
