Description

This project consists of three fish passage sites at three locations. 1) Rd 7400 MP 6.95 installation of a prefab 18.3 (60ft) span bridge replacing a 1500mm (60in) culvert; 2) Rd 7410 MP 0.56 installation of a 3500mm (11ft 5in)span x 2200mm (7ft 3in) rise structural plate pipe arch to replace an existing 1200mm (48in) culvert; and 3) Rd 7410 MP 1.78 installation of a 2600mm(8ft 7in) span x 1800mm (5ft 11in) rise structural plate pipe arch to replace an exisitng 900mm (36in) culvert. Work includes but is not limited to construction staking, clearing & grubbing, excavation & embankment, placement of crushed aggregate, screened aggregate, roadway paving, hydroseeding and clean up. Instream work window is July 15th to September 1st. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is during the winter months. Project is being advertised to allow prospective bidders the opportunity to visit the sites before winter conditions make access difficult. Estimated start work date is on or about July 15, 2005, contract work time is approx 92 days with project to be completed no later than October 15, 2005. The Government's estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Bonds will be required for this project. THIS PROJECT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. To reach project site, from the city of Enumclaw, WA take State Route 410 approx 17 miles east to FS Road 7400. Turn right on FS Rd 7400 and go approx 6.95 miles to the first site. Continue approx 1/2 mile to FS Rd 7410. Turn left on Road 7410, the second site is at MP 0.56 and the third is at MP 1.78.
