- Sealift Logistics Command, Atlantic (SEALOGLANT) intends to award a Firm-Fixed Priced contract (Low Priced Technical Acceptable Award) for Regular Overhaul and Drydock of USNS ZEUS (T-ARC 7). Work will be performed in contractor's facility in EAST COAST of USA for 45 calendar days, starting on/about 16 May 2005. This is an unrestricted requirement and all interested large/small business concerns on the East Coast of USA can submit proposal for consideration. Interested offerors must possess a current Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) with Naval Sea System Command (NAVSEA). Solicitation for the requirements will be posted on SEALOGLANT procurement website and on FEDBIZOPPs website. The following are some of the work requirements:Tank Inspections, Ballast Tank Preservation, Freeboard Preservation, FWD Cable Deck Hatch Replacement, Bow and Stern Thruster Overhauls, Switchboard Cleaning, Auxiliary Boiler Inspection, Fire Detection System Inspection, Halon System annual certification, Machinery space bilge preservation, Evaporator Overhauls, Various pump Overhauls, Cable Drum Drive motor repairs, Ballast Valve Hydraulic Operator Installation, Life Raft Inspection, Non-skid renewal, Deck tile replacement, Galley & Laundry ventilation Cleaning, Underwater Hull Preservation, Sea Valve Inspection, Transducer Dome Cleaningg, Anchor & Anchor Chain Inspection, Rudder/Bilge Keel Inspection, etc.
