Description: The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) intends to issue a sole source contract to the National Academy of Sciences on a cost reimbursement no fee basis, to assist in its efforts to secure the US?s infrastructure and economy against terrorist attack and other catastrophic loss. The contractor will render overall scientific and technical support for the National Research Council-DHS Resident Research Associateship Program (RRAP) by ensuring evaluation procedures will select high-quality awardees like doctoral scientists and engineers of unusual ability and promise or proven achievement, who will conduct research on programs which are compatible with the research interests of DHS.
