Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to enter into a sole source purchase order with Butzel Long/Micheal Grzybowski(Attorney) in Detroit, Michigan. This requirement involves the preparation of Patent Applications to include expanded specifications, claims, attorney fees, inventors declaration and power of attorney that will cover the specifications of the patent. Butzel Long is uniquely qualified due to the firm's involvement in previous patent applications that this services will offset. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed priced purchase order. The required period of performance is from December 7, 2007 through September 30, 2008. The proposed requirement is for services for which the Government intends to solicite and negotiate with only one user under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, However, all capability statement quotations received by December 7, 2004 will be considered by the Government. A determinations by the Government to compete this proposed requirement based upon responseds to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A request for Quotation (RFQ) package is not available.
