Description

The VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with BioMerieux, Inc., 100 Rodolphe St., Durham, NC 27712 for Cost Per Reportable Test Contract on Mini VIDAS to include all Equipment, Maintenance, Repairs, and Disposables. The proposed action for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under this authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes but responses received on or before December 15, 2004 will be evaluated. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this proposed action based on response to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
