- Description
- (I)This amendment is to change combined synopsis/solicitation to a sources sought pending avalibility of funding for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) Solicitation FA487705Q0222 is being issued as a request for proposal. (III) This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-25. (IV) This requirement is being synopsized under standard industrial classification code 7999, NAICS Code 713990. (V) COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION: 1) Perform Air act that consists of eight (8) replica Japanese aircraft composed of Zero fighters, Kate torpedo bombers and Val dive bombers. The act will reconstruct the attack of Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Act will include realistic simulation by detonating ground-based pyrotechnics. Length of airshow will be at least 15 minutes in duration. Media flights flown as necessary to promote airshow. Dates of performance will be the 2nd and 3rd of April, 2004. (VII) Place of delivery: DAVIS MONTHAN AFB, AZ 85707-4369, F.O.B. POINT IS DESTINATION. (VIII) Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items applies. (IX) Provision 52-212-2, Evaluation _ Commercial Items applies. Proposal will be evaluated on price. (X) Offerors are required to submit a completed copy of 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items with their offer. (XI) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items and any addenda the clause applies to this acquisition. (XII) Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to the award document. (XIII) N/A. (XIV) N/A. (XV) N/A. (XVI) Proposals will be due to the 355th Contracting Squadron, 3180 S. Craycroft Rd. Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ 85707, by 2 December 2004, 12 p.m. local time.
