Description

The Walla Walla District, Corps of Engineers, has a competitive requirement, F.O.B. destination, for diving services installing fish monitoring equipment in the Snake River. The Contractor must provide personnel, materials, supplies, equipment, tran sportation, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform the requirement. The work will consist of activities in support of biological testing of fish surface bypass efficiency at Lower Granite Dam. Types of activities will include: a) Disconnecting and removing 512 feet of the existing trash shear boom for storage during biological testing. b) Fabrication and installation of a double log boom float approximately 512 feet long to replace the existing trash shear boom during biological testing. c) Relocation of floating debris in the forebay. d) Underwater diving services to support installation of fish monitoring equipment. e) Underwater diving services to support trash rack cleaning and other work. f) Furnishing and installing buoys and signs in the forebay. g) Removing and storing the double log boom float following completion of biological testing. h) Reinstallation of the trash shear boom following biological testing.
