- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm, fixed price supply contract to be negotiated on a full and open basis for recycling of cooking oils and greases from Naval Station cafeterias, restaurants, galleys and ships in support of Commander Navy Region Northwest, Silverdale, WA. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, other items, and services necessary to accomplish the pickup and disposal of cooking grease located in various locations at Naval Station Kitsap, Bremerton, WA; Naval Station Everett, Everett, WA; Naval Submarine Base Bangor, Silverdale, WA; and, Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, WA. The estimated quantities to be removed from each site is: Naval Station Everett ? Approx 4,500 lbs/year; Naval Station Kitsap ? Approx 40,000 lbs/year; Naval Air Station Whidbey Island ? Approx 12,000 lbs/year and Naval Submarine Base Bangor ? Approx 24,000 lbs/year. The contractor shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and Local environmental laws. The contractor shall provide to the Contracting Officer and Government Representative, a report specifying the month of service, dates of performance, weight hauled on the appropriate day and a total weight amount for the month. Place of performance is Naval Station Everett, Naval Station Kitsap Bremerton, Naval Air Station Whidbey Island and Naval Submarine Base Bangor, Washington. Period of performance will extend from the date of award to 30 September 2005 with 3 option years. The solicitation will be issued on or about 30 November 2004 with a closing date of 22 December 2004. Proposed contract will be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition procedures in accordance with Far Part 12 and 13.5. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price service contract. Prospective offerors not CCR-registered should immediately begin the registration process.
