Description
The following are the second set of questions and answers for this RFQ. In addition the date and time for receipt of quotations is 03 December 2004, Eastern Time. Quotations must be submitted electronically to both Jeff Wong 781-271-6272, Jeffrey.wong@hanscom.af.mil and Carl Wiedemann, 781-271-2328, Carl.Wiedemann@hanscom.af.mil. Questions and Answers 1. In the past when we conducted Exchange training for the military in Japan, Germany and Hawaii, we were able to use on base facilities such as the commissary, restaurants and banks. Will that be the case for this training? * Answer: Accomodations on base will not be provided for instructors. 2. We have our own courseware for Exchange 2003. Can we submit a bid based upon the MS 2400 course as well as the course based upon our own courseware? * Answer: MS 2400 Implementing and Managing MS Exchange Server 2003 or equivalent is the appropriate course material. Content will be the same for all locations. 3. Could we be provided with the specifications for the overhead projector available in the classroom? * Answer: A computer compatible overhead projector will be provided. 4. How far in advance of the class date will we know the number of attendees? * Answer: A final count of attendees is expected two weeks prior to the scheduled class date. All CONUS locations are expected to have 24 attendees. 5. Once the contract is awarded, how far in advance will we be able to confirm class dates for the purpose of making travel arrangements? * Answer: If delays occur in awarding the contract the schedule will start at the earliest scheduled class that the vendor and Air Force mutually agree. Later dates will be scheduled following the established pattern and unit availability. At least two weeks confirmation will be provided for class dates. 6. Can the base point of contact receive equipment and material shipments? Will we be able to send to an APO/FPO address? * Answer: Each host unit will provide a point of contact to support training. APO/FPO addresses are available at each location. 7. Is it permissible to break out the costs in a line item proposal that shows separate fees for equipment fees, shipping costs and t&e, or do you prefer one all inclusive price? * Answer: Any contractor pricing format is acceptable provided a base price for a class of 12 students is defined and price for additional students up to a total of 24 is identified. 8. Is it permissible to quote a different rate for the 2 overseas training classes (as our shipping costs and travel and expenses are higher for these classes), or do you prefer a single fixed rate for all 7 classes. * Answer: Different rates for overseas training classes are acceptable. 9. To get our pricing as low as possible we need the addresses with zip codes if possible. * Answer: o 92 CS/SCMP, 500 W Arnold St., Bldg 2163, Fairchild AFB, WA 99011-9461 o 353 OSS/SCM, Kadena AB, Japan Post, Okinawa Japan 904 o 1 CCSQ/CYCXP, Bldg 2127 Unit 8895, Door 19, Ramstein Air Base Germany APO AE09094- 5345 o 22 CS/SCD, 53298 Kansas Street, McConnell AFB, KS 67221-3620 o 615 AMOS/SCO (NCC-D Equipment) 510 Airlift Dr. Bldg 380B Travis AFB CA 94535- 2350 o 514 CS, 2320 Radin Road, Room 102, McGuire AFB, NJ 08461-5218 o 16 CS/SCTT, 221Lukasik Ave Bldg 90220, Hulbert Field, FL 32544-5216 NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (30-NOV-2004); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
